Hush Heath Oast is a traditional double Oast house and former agricultural building that has been converted into a family home, set within a small group of historic buildings once associated with the Hush Heath Estate. Positioned on elevated ground with views across the surrounding countryside, the site also includes a former stable building and generous gardens.

The design focuses on improving how the house and its landscape are used while preserving the character of the original Oast. Subtle external changes bring more natural light into the home and improve the way the rooms connect with the surrounding garden, alongside a safer replacement staircase and a revised entrance that enhances the arrival to the house.

A new barn-style outbuilding provides garaging and storage, carefully positioned so it sits comfortably within the landscape without competing with the historic Oast. Nearby, a contemporary pool house and outdoor terrace introduce a relaxed space for family life, with natural materials and a green roof helping the building settle gently into the garden setting.
