The Gatehouse is a detached family home set back from The Green in the village of Frant, with open views across the surrounding countryside. The project reimagines the layout of the house to create a brighter and more connected home for modern family life.

A new two-storey rear extension introduces a generous kitchen and dining space designed to make the most of the landscape beyond. Large areas of glazing open the house to the garden, strengthening the connection between inside and outside. The first floor is reorganised to extend the main bedroom and provide additional ensuite spaces, while a dormer conversion transforms the unused roof space into a flexible study and living area.
