Set between Groombridge and Eridge, Redroofs is the transformation of a detached family home surrounded by woodland and farmland. Over time the house had grown through a series of additions, leaving the interior fragmented and disconnected from the garden.
The project reorganises the home around a new open-plan kitchen, dining and living space positioned at the rear of the property. A new extension replaces the previous addition, allowing the main living areas to open directly onto the garden and surrounding landscape.
Carefully positioned glazing brings natural light deep into the plan while framing views across the garden, creating a calmer and more cohesive environment for everyday family living.
